Crystal Exchange Program

Have a crystal, deck, or divination tool that no longer feels like yours?

Through the Sacred Embers Crystal Exchange Program, customers may bring in select crystals, tarot/oracle decks, and pendulums for review. If accepted, you’ll receive store credit toward something new in the shop.

All accepted items are reviewed for condition, cleanliness, authenticity, safety, and current shop needs. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

We do not offer cash payouts. Store credit values are final.

For safety and ethical reasons, we do not accept consumables, spell jars, used candles, damaged items, crystal jewelry, or items with residue, mold, odor, or unknown substances.

Bones and feathers may be reviewed case by case only and must be legally and ethically sourced. Items without clear sourcing may be refused.

All accepted items become property of Sacred Embers and may be cleansed, reset, resold, donated, displayed, or repurposed.

Sometimes a crystal, deck, or tool has served its purpose and is ready for its next keeper.

Each accepted item will be physically cleaned when appropriate, energetically cleared, and reset before being offered again.

Accepted Items

Sacred Embers may accept the following items in good, clean condition:

Crystals

  • Raw crystals

  • Polished stones

  • Towers

  • Spheres

  • Palm stones

  • Hearts

  • Carvings

  • Mineral specimens

  • Crystal grids or altar stones

Tarot & Oracle Decks

Accepted only if:

  • The deck is complete

  • Cards are clean and not heavily bent, stained, torn, or damaged

  • Guidebook is included when possible

  • Box is in usable condition, if included

Pendulums

Accepted as metaphysical tools, not jewelry.

Examples:

  • Crystal pendulums

  • Metal pendulums

  • Wood pendulums

  • Stone pendulums

Bones

Accepted case by case only.

Preference will be given to items with clear ethical sourcing, such as:

  • Naturally shed antlers

  • Farm-sourced bones

  • Bones from food/agricultural processing

  • Legally purchased specimens

  • Documentation, receipt, tag, or clear sourcing information

  • Feathers may only be accepted if they are legal to possess, clearly sourced, and not from protected native migratory birds, raptors, owls, eagles, hawks, or other restricted species. Sacred Embers reserves the right to refuse any feathered item if sourcing cannot be confidently verified.

    Basically: no mystery feathers. The goblin shelf must remain legally boring.

Not Accepted Items

Sacred Embers does not accept:

  • Crystal jewelry

  • Broken glass or sharp damaged pieces

  • Items with unknown residue, oils, wax, mold, or strong odor

  • Spell jars or sealed ritual containers

  • Used spell candles

  • Opened herbs, oils, salts, teas, or consumables

  • Loose herbs or handmade consumable blends

  • Items with insects, water damage, mildew, or smoke damage

  • Items the shop cannot confidently identify or safely resell

  • Items suspected to be illegally sourced

  • Items that feel energetically or physically unsafe for resale

Small exchanges may be reviewed during your visit. Larger collections, decks, bones, feathers, or unusual items may require up to 3 business days for review.

Exchange credit may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, or special offers unless approved by Sacred Embers.

Once store credit is accepted, exchanged items become property of Sacred Embers and cannot be returned to the original owner.

Store credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Exchange credit may be used toward retail purchases only unless otherwise approved.

Items not accepted must be picked up within 7 days of notification. Items left longer than 14 days may be considered abandoned and may be donated, discarded, or otherwise handled at Sacred Embers’ discretion.

Items must arrive clean, dry, and free from odor, residue, insects, mold, wax, oil, herbs, glitter, or unknown substances.
