  • Sacred Embers is not a trend-based wellness brand or a one-size-fits-all healing space. We work at the intersection of ancestral wisdom, modern understanding, and lived experience.

Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, we support the whole person—physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual—because lasting healing happens when all layers are addressed together.

Our practices are rooted in real-world transformation, not theory. We bridge ancient earth-based knowledge with modern clarity and safety, empowering individuals to reconnect with their own innate capacity to heal.

Sacred Embers exists to cultivate depth over quick fixes, sovereignty over dependency, and balance over bypassing—guiding people toward true, sustainable transformation.

  • Tarot and oracle readings are intuitive practices used for guidance, self-reflection, and gaining clarity. They use symbolic cards to explore current energies, influences, and possible paths forward, helping you better understand situations, patterns, and choices in your life. Tarot readings are based on a structured deck with established symbolism that offers in-depth insight, while oracle readings use more free-form decks that tend to provide gentle, direct, or thematic messages. Together, they are not about predicting a fixed future, but about offering perspective, insight, and empowerment so you can make informed decisions aligned with your personal growth and intuition.

  • Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports the body's natural healing processes. It works by channeling universal life force energy through the practitioner's hands to the recipient, either through light touch or just above the body. The goal is to balance the body’s energy centers (chakras) and restore harmony to mind, body, and spirit.

During a session, you’ll typically lie fully clothed on a massage table in a quiet, calming environment. The practitioner will gently place their hands on or just above different areas of your body. Many people experience sensations like warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation—some even fall asleep. Each session lasts around 45–60 minutes, depending on your needs.

Reiki is not based on belief or any specific religion. It works regardless of belief, although having an open mind can enhance your experience. Many people feel benefits such as reduced stress, greater emotional clarity, or physical relief even if they were initially skeptical.

Reiki is gentle, non-invasive, and safe for everyone, including children, the elderly, pets, and those with medical conditions. It can be used alongside other medical or therapeutic treatments and may even help reduce side effects from medication or support recovery after surgery or illness.

  • Sylvotherapy—also known as forest therapy or tree therapy—is the practice of spending intentional time among trees to support physical, mental, and emotional health. While it may sound poetic, this nature-based therapy is backed by growing scientific evidence.

Studies, particularly from Japan (where it’s known as Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing”), have shown that time spent in forest environments can:

    • Lower cortisol levels, reducing stress and anxiety

    • Improve cardiovascular health, by lowering blood pressure and heart rate

    • Boost immune function, increasing natural killer (NK) cell activity

    • Enhance mood and focus, supporting mental clarity and emotional balance

Researchers believe that breathing in phytoncides—the antimicrobial compounds released by trees—plays a key role in these benefits, along with the calming visual and auditory stimuli of natural settings.

Sylvotherapy isn’t about intense hiking or exercise; it’s about slowing down, being present, and consciously connecting with the natural world. Activities can include mindful walking, breathing exercises, meditative sitting, or even lightly touching or “hugging” trees to engage the senses and deepen awareness.

How to prepare for your Sylvotherapy session-

    • Make sure you are hydrated.  It is important to drink water and stay hydrated normally, but going into the forest where humidity levels can be higher than normal you may sweat more.  Bring a full bottle of water with you. Please avoid plastic bottles if possible.

    • During the session we will not be moving quickly through the forest, but it will be important to wear footwear that will protect your feet, but can easily be removed to get your feet onto the bare earth.  Ultimately wear whatever you are comfortable with, just keep in mind that there are bugs, sticks, rocks, and plants that may irritate your feet while walking barefoot.

    • Each participant will receive a safety whistle for emergencies, and an optional foraging pouch to collect items and plants to use during the session.  For night sessions, a rechargeable glow stick will be provided as well for safety.  This is a dark sky preserve so please do not bring any bright flashlights and cover the light with a red tint lense if you do bring one. Small low lumen flashlights are ideal.

    • You are encouraged to bring any bug sprays or sunscreens if you feel the need, however, please try to use unscented ones.  We will be using our sense of smell quite often during the session and do not want to interfere with heavily scented oils and lotions.  Using natural bug repellents such as cedar oils or tea tree oils is encouraged.

    • Please do not bring headphones or speakers. You can bring a towel or mat to sit on, or nothing if you would prefer to sit on the forest floor.  Wear whatever clothes you will be comfortable in for the weather, just keep in mind you will be in the forest.

  • Geobiology is the study of the Earth and its effect on life. Specifically the Geobiology I practice refers to the holistic practice of identifying and mitigating environmental stressors, often called Geopathic Stress Consulting or Building Biology.

  • There is limited scientific evidence that crystals emit or direct energy in the way they are described in spiritual or metaphysical practices. However, crystals do have well-documented physical properties—such as consistent molecular structures, vibration frequencies, piezoelectric effects (in some minerals like quartz), and electromagnetic interactions—that are widely used in modern technology, including watches, radios, and medical devices.

In holistic and spiritual contexts, crystal energy is often understood less as a measurable force and more as a tool for intention, focus, and mindfulness. Many people find that working with crystals supports emotional awareness, meditation, and personal reflection, similar to how symbols, rituals, or grounding practices can influence mindset and perception. While personal experiences with crystals can feel meaningful and beneficial, these effects are best understood as complementary practices rather than scientifically proven medical or therapeutic treatments.
